We shared recently that Factory was named one of the leading companies in Croatia by Clutch, which is an achievement we are incredibly proud of. We didn’t think it could get much better, but it has! Clutch announced this week that we were named one of the top 1000 B2B service providers across the globe!

What were the goals for the biggest news portal in Croatia with a mobile app?

Index team wanted a mobile application to be profitable for their business and increase accessibility for our readers. The application’s main functionality was to intuitively aggregate news stories and instantly update with most recent content, videos, and photos.

We wanted to build an application for our news business. We had a few issues, particularly with right-to-left (RTL). We offered it to a couple of companies, but they couldn’t do what we requested.

What was our solution for newspaper mobile application?

We developed native apps in Android and iOS for Alwatan. It was a complete end-to-end project, from design to the final delivery and also maintenance. We build wireframes, mockups, and complete design and development. The process was streamlined and interactive.

The biggest challenge was the Arabic part with RTL. This is not natively supported on iOS, so we needed to find a solution from the ground to support each of the many systems, interfaces, screens, and elements. It resulted in providing the best mobile app both on Arabic and English language.

How we helped the biggest retailer in Kuwait?

Since day one, we were in charge of design, frameworks, prototyping, developing and maintenance for brand new Taw9eel group applications. The apps are both in English and Arabic. The biggest selling points of the application are stability and incredibly UI that is slick and easy to use. We also provided AR – augmented reality feature, which resulted as one of the greatest features according to Taw9eel users.

The results of the mobile application were brilliant and provided extra satisfaction for our client!

At least 50% conversion on order is coming from one application. Responses from Taw9eel customers were mostly positive, but there were some negative comments about layout problems. As we follow the real feedback from customers, we quickly came up with research and ideas on how to help our client. It resulted in providing both layouts, and now our client has the best applications in English and Arabic!
