Factory Joins POCA at Pimcore Inspire 2025
Pimcore Inspire 2025 brought together over 400 members of the global Pimcore ecosystem in Salzburg, offering space for focused discussions, product insights, and new directions for the platform’s future.
Among the event’s highlights was the announcement of Pimcore Studio, a complete redesign of the Pimcore admin interface — faster, more flexible, and built with composability in mind. The conference also introduced practical AI and many other great features.
As always, Inspire was a great chance to catch up with familiar faces, share ideas, and get a feel for what’s coming next.
This year also marked the start of something new: the Pimcore Open Community Alliance (POCA). Backed by Pimcore, POCA gathers a small group of companies and individuals with deep experience in the ecosystem.
Pimcore Open Community Alliance (POCA)
POCA is not a tool or platform — it’s a people-powered alliance.
It brings together a hand-picked group of Pimcore representatives, veteran developers, and trusted partner organizations from across Europe and the US. This is the original POCA crew — a closed, invitation-only collective of individuals committed to advancing the Pimcore community with purpose and integrity.
It was founded on a bold and focused vision:
-
Foster Real Dialogue
-
Establish authentic, consistent, and transparent communication between Pimcore and its most dedicated community members.
-
Channel the Community Voice
-
Ensure that the insights, feedback, and innovation of the core community influence the strategic and technical evolution of Pimcore.
-
Strengthen Collaboration
-
Build deeper relationships through private discussions, curated events, and shared ownership of knowledge.
-
Act as a Trusted Forum
-
Provide a confidential space for community-driven questions, ideas, and concerns to be heard, tested, and acted upon.
Factory is part of that founding group, with Ivica Horvat representing us alongside Johan Lindgren (C.A.G Ateles), Dominik Pfaffenbauer (CORS GmbH), Matthew Dares (Torq IT), and Pimcore’s Bernd Dultinger and Dietmar Rietsch.
POCA is a private initiative. Membership is exclusive to the original POCA crew — individuals who have demonstrated long-standing commitment to the Pimcore ecosystem and its values.
This space is designed for honest conversations, strategic thinking, and shared action. It is not open to the public, and participation is by invitation only.
We are united by a shared mission:
To shape the future of Pimcore through trust, transparency, and collaboration.
This is more than a community. This is POCA.
We’ve worked with Pimcore for years, so joining POCA is a natural next step. We’re looking forward to contributing with hands-on insights and helping shape the direction of the platform in a way that benefits everyone using it.
There’s a lot ahead for Pimcore, and we’re glad to be part of shaping it.
