Snippet publish fails with required input fields

What was the issue? 

The problem was when creating a snippet with required fields, for example, if input fields are set to be required, it wouldn’t allow me to save new snippets. But if you change the input field on the existing snippet to required, it would allow it to save.

How did you solve it? 

Problem was that there was no update to the missing required editable field on snippets. So when a snippet is created that field is set to true and never updated. It needed to be added on save action so that if the required field is now set to be able to allow the save of the snippet.

Why is this fix important?

Because without this, snippets with required editable fields weren’t working there for we were not being able to use them.

What do you think about the current direction of the development of the entire Pimcore platform?

I like the current state of Pimcore and its direction of development. Both them and the community are making it better and better every year.
